Today is successful because I have prevented 4 pigeons from checking into "Sandra's Windowsill Motel For Sleepy Birds".
I have spent 2 hours leaping up from my couch every time one of these feathery,fidgety bastards crash-lands on my window sill and then I stick my hand through the window blinds and frantically shake it madly about until the startled bird flings itself into the air again, in the direction of my next door neighbor's window.
There is no day that cannot benefit from a lowering of expectations.
I am happy.
(I gotta go- pigeon 4 is a repeat offender....)
